Why Are So Many Families Facing Foreclosure
COVID-19 FORECLOSURE
Are you one of the people that has lost their job or had your pay cut because of Covid-19. You are not alone. Right now, it is said that 5% of homeowners are behind on their payments and facing foreclosure because of the pandemic.
That is 1 out of 20 homeowners. It is being said that months from now, that will be up to 10% to 15%. Maybe even more here in California. Find out now how we can help you!
COVID-19 FORBEARANCE
It sounded good when banks were offering borrowers forbearance because of the pandemic. But, the bank never stated how the money was to be paid back. Has the bank informed you that your monthly payments are now going up? Is the NEW PAYMENT more than you can afford?
Does this seem unfair? Has your bank stopped listening to you or stopped trying to help you? We have the information you need along with your options.
SOMETIMES WE ALL STRUGGLE
People find themselves in these situations for all kinds of reasons and it is no reflection on their personal worth. Life can be hard. We’ve helped families get through:
- Job Loss
- Divorce
- Unexpected medical expenses
- Credit card debt
- Investment/market losses
- Unexpected home repais bills
- Unforeseen loan term/rate changes
“Covid made a mess of everything. I don’t know how, but we were $20,000 behind on our house. I thought that was impossible!
But Blaine is a genious and knows this system better than the banks. He got us out of the hole and got the bank off our back. We can never repay him.”

Why is Bankruptcy a Bad Idea?
What is bankruptcy?
Bankruptcy is a legal process that will use whatever assets you have to pay off as much of your debt as possible. While you are debt free after filing bankruptcy, you are also left with little or no assets and the bankruptcy will stay on your record for years to come making it nearly impossible to get back on your feet.
How will bankruptcy affect my family?
I’ve been doing this for more than 30 years and I have never heard a family or homeowner say they were glad to have filed bankruptcy. Bankruptcy can leave a family with nothing and no means of getting a new loan to work back toward building a comfortable living.
Why am I being told I need to file bankruptcy?
Whether it is your bank, a foreclosure attorney, or an outside investor, a lot of bad agents are out for an easy win. Bankruptcy is the easiest and quickest option TO HELP THEM. Not only is it often a bad option to homeowners and their families out of debt, it is also an option that can have repercussions lasting years.
Don’t give them the easy win, when there is a better way for you.
How can I avoid filing bankruptcy?
Depending on how far behind you are in your payments, what stage in the process you are in with your lender, and what you can afford to do now, there are several ways you can delay, cease, or avoid the foreclosure process.
Without a conversation I can’t, in good faith, recommend a plan. After I get a chance to hear about your situation, I can help you develop a plan to save your house and your dignity
What are my options?
I’ve made a career out of helping famlies find options to avoid foreclosure and avoid losing their home. There are tried and true methods to do this and I want to share them with you. The best way for me to help you find a path away from bankruptcy is to talk it out. Call me. I’ll ask questions, listen to how your family’s situation is unique, and find the right strategy for you.
Don’t Make for These Common Mistakes
DON’T …
Talk to a Bankruptcy Attorney
Bankruptcy attorneys are quick to help you file bankruptcy. They promise your debts will disappear.
They don’t tell you that bankruptcy stays on your record for 7 years, making your life miserable.
DON’T …
Sell Straight to an Investor
Investors that offer you cash for you home aren’t there to help you. They want steal your home’s equity and leave you with pennies on the dollar and no place to call home.
Don’t fall for the quick payout when you have other options.
“He didn’t just help us stay out of foreclosure. He saved our family and our future, too.”
